1) Locate & access the module. In most vehicles they are under the center console that is between front seats, or below the radio/ashtray in the center of the dash on the floor. In most GM cars it is under the driver or passenger seat.

2) Disconnect the vehicle battery negative (-) or earth lead for a couple of minutes.

3) Disconnect the airbag module plug whilst module is still bolted to the floor (if possible).

4) Unbolt & remove the module from the vehicle.

5) Re-connect battery negative lead. The vehicle should now start and may be driven. We would not advise using the vehicle on a public highway whilst the airbags are inactive!

 

Refit the module in the reversed way.
