Professional rebuild service for the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA / ABS) control module found in 2008-2022 Honda and Acura vehicles. We permanently resolve internal solenoid valve, pressure sensor, and yaw rate sensor malfunctions. Fully plug-and-play with no dealer programming required!

CRITICAL: Please separate the electronic module from the ABS pump. Do not send the heavy pump! (Note: This repair applies only to modules that visually match the one in our listing picture).

Description

If you own a 2008-2022 Honda or Acura, a failing Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system can cause multiple warning lights—including the ABS, VSA, and Brake indicators—to illuminate on your dashboard. When scanned, these vehicles frequently reveal internal hardware failures within the ABS control module. Dealerships usually insist on replacing the entire expensive hydraulic pump assembly, but our honda vsa module repair service targets and fixes the exact point of failure.

The VSA Electronic Failure Explained

The electronic control module is bolted directly to the hydraulic ABS pump in your engine bay. Over time, the internal micro-circuitry controlling the solenoid valves and pressure sensors degrades. This triggers hard fault codes and disables your traction control and anti-lock braking features.

By utilizing our acura abs control module rebuild service, we open your original unit, repair the faulty circuitry, and upgrade the weakest components. Because we are rebuilding your exact computer, it retains all its original factory programming and VIN data. Once you receive it back, you simply plug it in and drive—absolutely no expensive dealer coding or calibration is required!

Common Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) We Fix

If your diagnostic scanner pulls any of the following specific Honda/Acura fault codes, your module is a perfect candidate for this repair:

  • DTC 31-11 through 38-11: ABS Solenoid Valve Malfunction.
  • DTC 66-11: Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction.
  • DTC 66-13: Pressure Sensor Malfunction.
  • DTC 81-19: Yaw Rate Sensor Inside Malfunction.
  • DTC 81-20: Acceleration Sensor Internal Circuit Malfunction.
  • DTC 121-11 through 124-11: VSA Solenoid Valve Malfunction.
  • DTC 129-3: Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction.
  • DTC 133-1: VSA System Malfunction.

Important Service Terms and Removal Notes

To safely utilize this service, DO NOT ship the heavy metal hydraulic pump assembly. Carefully remove the torx screws to separate the black plastic electronic control module from the pump block, and send the computer only. Bonus: You can still safely drive your vehicle while the module is out for repair (standard hydraulic braking will function normally, though ABS and VSA will be disabled).

After reinstalling the repaired unit, you will need a dedicated OBD2 scanner to clear the old DTCs from the system’s memory.
Please note: Not all computers can be fixed (e.g., severe physical damage). Unrepairable units will be returned with a refund, minus a $100 diagnostic fee and return shipping costs.
